About Me

Hello, my name is Amanda and one of my greatest passions is helping students develop their maximum potential in math. I have been teaching and tutoring math for 18+ years. I have a Bachelors of Science degree in Mathematics from Framingham State University. From the University of Massachusetts-Boston I earned a Masters of Education degree in Secondary Education and certificate to teach math to English language learners.

Outside of math I enjoy learning languages. I am bilingual in English and Spanish and I am currently learning Brazilian Portuguese. I enjoy traveling and experiencing cultures like a local.  When I am not studying languages or traveling I can be found dancing (especially bachata and salsa), eating chocolate, playing board games with friends, doing room escapes, or watching scary movies.
